ESCO wins patent infringement case
Beijing Second Intermediate People's Court recently ruled that a company in Ningbo city, Zhejiang Province, Ningbo Huicheng Foundry Co. Ltd, infringed an Invention patent of ESCO Corporation. Esco instituted the lawsuit in December 2007. Six months later, the court, on June 18, 2008, ordered Ningbo Huicheng Foundry Co. Ltd to cease manufacturing and selling the infringing products and pay 125,000 yuan in compensation and 13,800 yuan for the reasonable lawsuit expenses to Esco.
